Pearl Jam: Hamilton, Ontario: They Rocked It!

So Pearl Jam is currently doing a Canadian tour right now. They are also releasing a movie, book and CD to celebrate their 20th anniversary. This is making me feel sorta old since I've liked Pearl Jam since 1994...

Anyhow, I cannot wait to see the movie, check out the book and get the new CD!
This concert marks my 7th time seeing the band and each time it gets better and better! We arrived in Hamilton on the day of the concert. Hamilton is a pretty cute town. Our hotel was located right across from the Copps Coliseum and also attached to a mall! Someone very intelligent (woman) planned this city well!

After we grabbed some lunch and a change of clothes we headed to a bar called the "Wicked Lawyer" for a pre-party. It was jammed. Literally. Some fans were there handing out bootleg copies of previous concerts. We got two different ones. Bob was pretty stoked!

When in Canada, drink what the Canadians drink!
After a few drinks we decided to head over to the Coliseum and check out our seats and grab a t-shirt and check out the opening act. When we got there we were so shocked to see we were in the 18th row!

Can you see the excitement on his face!?
Row 18! Marked on the floor next to our seats.
There weren't too many people around when we arrived but since we were on the main level we walked around and checked things out.
I happened to think it was pretty cool that they have a Cell Charging Station. How very modern!

The opened the show with "Given to Fly" one of my favorites! And also, one that I actually know the words to!

It was an awesome concert. Even the local paper said it was great. But we knew it would be anyway :) It was so fun, can't wait to see them in another city. Europe maybe? YES!
